Lottery winner blew R950 million in JUST eight years and then died
A lottery winner blew R950 million in eight years before he died in 2019 from sepsis and an “acute kidney injury” at the age of 72.
Colin Weir, from North Ayrshire in Scotland, spent money on a football club, race horses, and expensive cars. He won the EuroMillions in 2011.

According to Channel 4 News, “Chris and Colin Weir have suddenly become one of Britain’s richest couples – after scooping a record £161 million in a Euromillions lottery win.”
Weir purchased cars such as a vintage Bentley Arnage, Jaguar F-Pace SUV, and a Mercedes-Benz E Class Estate, according to The New York Post.

When Weir won the EuroMillions jackpot in 2011 he was the second-biggest winner of that lottery. He got divorced from his wife who he was married to for almost four years.
