Kaizer Chiefs target skillful winger from top PSL rivals!


Kaizer Chiefs have identified this Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder as one of their main targets ahead of the new season.

Kaizer Chiefs have lined-up several big-name signings. Moreover, Percy Tau is one Amakhosi’s targets ahead of the 2024-25 DStv Premiership.

Interestingly, their latest is a Sundowns midfielder.

CHIEFS INTERESTED IN SUNDOWNS MIDFIELDER

Chiefs have identified Gaston Sirino as one of their targets.

“Negotiations may not have started but Chiefs are interested and he is on their shopping list for next season,” the insider stated on SNL.

However, it must be noted that no official offer has been made yet. This is because Amakhosi are waiting on The Brazilians to make a decision on Sirino.

“Kaizer Chiefs are monitoring the Uruguayan midfielders situation, and are believed to be poised to act once there is clarity on his future and if he is ready to leave Masandawana,” he added.

Meanwhile, they have inquired about the Sundowns midfielder. Meaning, they will make a bid for him if Sundowns do not renew his contract.

“Since he made it clear that he would want to leave and go where he would play more regularly there have been a few teams which have made inquiries about his services and one of those teams is Kaizer Chiefs,” he continued.

AMAKHOSI KEEN TO SIGN PERCY TAU

Initially, Chiefs identified Tau as as one of their main targets. Furthermore, Tau stated that he is keen to join the Soweto giants. However, Tau stipulated one specific condition for this blockbuster move. Chiefs must sign Pitso Mosimane. Therefore, Chiefs could sign Mosimane and Tau.

Recent reports in Egypt state that Tau will have to take a 50% pay cut or leave. Therefore, if he does not agree to this drastic cut, he will be loaned out for the duration of his Al Ahly contract. Ultimately, several big changes will be made across personal at Naturena. Firstly, the new coach who will be bringing his own technical team.
