Kaizer Chiefs send offer to buy striker
It seems like a sure case. Kaizer Chiefs will somehow have a new striker at Naturena this coming season. The latest reports say Amakhosi have sent an offer to Egypt.
KAIZER CHIEFS TABLE OFFER FOR FISTON MAYELE
According to the Citizen, coach Nasreddine Nabi is keen to sign the 30-year-old Congolese striker, who is also his former player at Young Africans in Tanzania where Mayele delivered 14 goals and three assists in 18 games.
After joining Pyramids FC in Egypt in 2023, the Kaizer Chiefs targets has netted 19 goals and created five assists in 40 games.
“Coach (Nasreddine) Nabi has made it clear to the Chiefs management that he wants Mayele and now Chiefs have sent an offer to Pyramids. They’re now waiting for Pyramids to accept or reject it,” a source said via the Citizen.
KAIZER CHIEFS TO ANNOUNCE INACIO MIGUEL
After assesssing his new squad since July, Amakhosi’s Nabi is bringing in a second central defender in the 28-year-old Miguel from Petro de Luanda.
According to FARPost, Miguel, who was born in Portugal before acquiring Angolan citizenship, is on his way to Johannesburg to sign for the mighty Kaizer Chiefs. Miguel’s move to Amakhosi follows after his first season in Africa with Petro in 2021. His experience includes time in Portugal, Romania, and Latvia.
According to the leading FARPost reporter Mthokozisi Dube, Amakhosi have agreed on terms to sign the 28-year-old Miguel, thanks to his impressive run in the CAF Champions League and African Football League with Petro last season.
“Kaizer Chiefs have pulled off their most significant transfer coup yet, securing the services of Angolan international centre-back Inacio Miguel from Petro de Luanda,” Dube reported.
“The two clubs have finalised the transfer fee, and Inacio is expected to sign this week after agreeing to personal terms,” the report added.

This season’s Kaizer Chiefs will look almost brand news, thanks to coach Nasreddine Nabi’s five new signigns. The latest is Inacio Miguel.
According to Miguel’s former Luanda teammate, Hugo Marques, Miguel will offer bravery and quality.
“Inacio is a very good defender, he has lots of experience, he played in Romania, Portugal, he played in the CAF Champions League, you saw him in the games against Sundowns, he had a very good performance,” Marques tells iDiski Times.
“He’s going to add bravery and quality to Kaizer Chiefs, because they need a guy who leads the defence there you know. I hope he succeeds because he’s a very good guy, very good player, very good human,” Marques concluded.
