DJ Fresh on Thabiso Sikwane
The passing of TV and radio personality Thabiso Sikwane shocked South Africans on social media as she appeared healthy in a recent interviewed with her ex-husband, DJ Fresh on Friday, 30 August.
THABISO SIKWANE: LATEST INTERVIEW
DJ Fresh, real name Thato Sikwane trended on Saturday, 31 August for his latest interview with his ex-wife, Thabiso Sikwane on his podcast titled, What a Week (WAW).
“We discussed this guest hood a month ago. We agreed that she’s gonna come and do the show,” says Fresh.
On the show, DJ Fresh also reveals that the mother of his children is also a producer of his podcast.
The DJ and podcaster announced on X: “We have known each other since she read news on my show in 1998. And this is the first time I interview her. I’m excited and nervous.”
A fan of the DJ, revealed on X that Thabiso and Fresh’s son called on the show to compliment Thabiso for being the great mom she has been to him and his siblings.
Fresh also revealed on the show that he will be dropping a second part of his interview with Thabiso soon.

SIKWANE AND MATLADI: STATEMENT
The family of the radio personality, Thabiso Sikwane confirmed her death in a statement on social media.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thabiso, whose dedication and passion for Christ, family life and the media and entertainment left an indelible mark on colleagues and audiences alike.”
“We are deeply saddened by this loss and pray her legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”
The family also reveals that details of her memorial and funeral services will be shared in the coming days.
