Kaizer Chiefs legend linked with NFD club!
Kaizer Chiefs legend Collins Mbesuma is heavily linked with Motsepe Foundation Championship club Venda Football Academy (VFA).
Mbesuma spent the previous at Sekhukhune United where he served as their striker coach.
He is most likely to occupy the same position at VFA who have struggled upfront since the start of the current season.
In fact, VFA are yet to score in their opening four league games, and Mbesuma is expected to shake things up.
According to FARPost, the Kaizer Chiefs legend was spotted at the VFA training grounds on Tuesday and Wednesday.
However, there hasn’t been any official word from either VFA or Mbesuma regarding his arrival or possible signing.
It is also worth mentioning that VFA lost their head coach Duncan Lechesa just last week. Lechesa has since joined Marumo Gallants.
Mbesuma made his name in South African football in the mid-2000s when he signed for Kaizer Chiefs.
He cemented his legendary status at Kaizer Chiefs by scoring 35 goals in one season before heading to Europe.
Upon his return to the PSL, Mbesuma played for a number of clubs, including Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
He is, in fact, one of the few players to have played for ‘The Big Three’ of South African football.
And that’s Kaizer Chiefs, Sundowns and Pirates.
