Former Orlando Pirates star’s mega-mansion takes shape
Former Orlando Pirates star Thandani Ntshumayelo took to Instagram to share some progress on his mega-mansion, which he is reportedly building.
A few months ago, he made headlines when media outlets revealed he was winning big on the pitch and was already building a mega-mansion in one of Johannesburg’s leafy suburbs.

Against the news, some photos of the rumoured mega mansion were made rounds.
However, contrary to the news, the South African has established that the former Orlando Pirates star is seemingly building a mega-mansion in the Eye of Africa Golf & Residential Estate.
A few weeks ago, he shared a video of him driving around the estate, and in his next post, he shared photos and videos of his mega-mansion, which he is building.
This left many convinced that he was indeed building in the estate. He also recently shared a video showing the progress.
Against the trends, Thandani Ntshumayelo has yet to confirm whether the double-storey is in the Eye of Africa Golf & Residential Estate.
Little is known about the house’s number of rooms. However, judging from Thandani Ntshumayelo’s video, the double-storey house boasts modern architectural designs.
However, judging from the now-viral videos, the former Orlando Pirates star would soon complete his house.
The former Orlando Pirates joins a host of former Premier League stars, including Teenage Hadebe, who recently made headlines with their lush properties.
Earlier this year, the former Kaizer Chiefs star showed off the house he had been building in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
In June, Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi topped trends after he showed off a lush rural he is building in Nquthu, KwaZulu-Natal.
After retiring from football, he returned to school and has been venturing into many businesses.
Thandani Ntshumayelo is pursuing a Higher Law Certificate at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
CAREER
Thandani Ntshumayelo had his youth career with Black Swallows before joining SuperSport United in 2005.
He made his senior debut in 2009, and in 2012, the midfielder joined Orlando Pirates and made over 70 appearances.
However, in 2016, Thandani Ntshumayelo was handed a four-year ban from football after he tested positive for a banned substance.
In 2019, he returned to football, but his last dance was not as picture-perfect as many expected. However, Thandani Ntshumayelo retired from football in 2023.
