Beau Greaves Opens Up About Vulnerability Following World Darts Championship: ‘I Have My Weaknesses’
Beau Greaves admitted she still feels “vulnerable” to losses, despite successfully advancing to the quarter-finals of the WDF World Darts Championship.
The 20-year-old has held the women’s title for the last two years, confirming her position as the best player globally.

On Tuesday, she secured her spot in the last eight with a 2-0 win over Finland’s Kirsi Viinikainen.
While her progression to the next round was fairly straightforward, Viinikainen challenged her in the second set, nearly hitting a nine-darter with seven darts.
Last month, Greaves was one of two women competing in the Grand Slam of Darts.
She achieved a 5-1 victory against Cameron Menzies but suffered defeats against Danny Noppert and Martin Schindler.
Despite her dominant presence in women’s darts, she insists she is not invincible.
She noted: “I played in the Grand Slam and managed to win a game.
“I played reasonably well, but most female players know my abilities; that doesn’t mean I’m unbeatable. I lose matches often in the women’s series.
“I do have defeats, and that leaves me somewhat vulnerable.”

“Anything can happen at any time; you never know when players like Kirsi can surprise you with their performances.”
Greaves expressed disappointment with her own game but acknowledged that the most crucial thing was winning.

She remarked: “I won, and that’s what counts, but I didn’t play to my full potential. My darts were not up to standard, and so on.
“It’s frustrating to come back and defend my title, and facing Kirsi was a challenging opener.
“Nonetheless, I’m relieved she missed some doubles, and I’m happy to walk away as the victor.”
