West Ham footballer Michail Antonio stuck in wrecked Ferrari, rescued by helicopter after accident
Premier League player Michail Antonio was rescued from the wreckage of his £260,000 Ferrari yesterday after a severe car crash.
The West Ham United striker was transported to a hospital via airlift following emergency services devoting almost an hour to free him from the severely damaged car.
Antonio was said to be in serious condition after hitting trees in Theydon Bois, Essex.
Grim images showed his £260,000 Ferrari FF wrecked against the trees after veering off the road at 12:50 PM.
Motorists passing by alerted firefighters, who worked to rescue the 34-year-old by 1:45 PM.
The father of four was then flown to a central London hospital.

His ex-wife Debbie traveled from her home in Manchester to be by his side.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “He is in a serious condition.
“He is conscious and able to communicate, but everyone at the club is extremely worried. We are all just hoping he pulls through.”
Witnesses noted grey smoke rising from the car, which crashed in Theydon Bois, Essex—close to West Ham owner David Sullivan’s residence.
One witness said: “Several cars had stopped, and people were dialing emergency services.
“The weather was atrocious; it was raining heavily, windy, and the road was extremely slippery. It did not seem like another car was involved. It appeared to have spun out of control.
