Attack in KZN results in death of five men; one victim loses arm
The police in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) have initiated a manhunt for those responsible for the horrific murders of five men in the Bambayi area of Inanda. Reports indicate the victims were brutally attacked with a bush knife.
According to KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda, officers arrived to the scene following reports of a mass murder early on Friday morning.

“Upon reaching the crime scenes, three bodies were located at a sports ground adjacent to a school, while the other two were found in a field approximately a kilometre away from the initial location,” Netshiunda detailed.
Victims Abducted and Savage Assaulted
Initial investigations indicate that the victims, aged between 19 and 26, were taken from their residences around midnight. Their remains, which showed various injuries, were uncovered shortly after 6:30 a.m.

“One of the victims was found with an arm severed,” Netshiunda stated, highlighting the horrific nature of the assaults.
The reason behind these brutal killings is currently unknown. Authorities are appealing to anyone with leads regarding the suspects to reach out by contacting their local police station or calling the Crime Stop hotline at 08600 10111.
