Ibrahimovic, acting as a senior advisor for Milan, remarked: “When a player like Walker becomes available, it’s natural for there to be interest.”

“He is an extraordinary player, known for his success with both Manchester City and the England national team.”

Last week, City manager Pep Guardiola revealed that Walker, at the age of 34, is looking for new challenges.

Ibra further mentioned that the player’s age does not pose a problem, stating: “Walker fits well with our goals.”

“He is a strong leader who earns respect in the locker room.”

“We are considering our options.”

Andrea Cambiaso has been mentioned as a possible substitute for Walker.

Additionally, Cambiaso’s club, Juventus, has been linked with Milan’s English center-back Fikayo Tomori.

Despite all these developments, Ibrahimovic insisted: “He remains our player, and he is happy at Milan.”

This statement follows reports claiming that Milan has ended their pursuit of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, who seeks a transfer.

Serie A rules allow clubs to sign only one non-EU player per season, and Milan is currently prioritizing Walker.

The Manchester City standout has amassed an impressive tally of six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and a Champions League title since joining Etihad from Tottenham in 2017.

The full-back has recorded six goals and 23 assists across 319 matches.

However, the England international has seen limited action this season with only 18 appearances so far.
