Neymar Nears Surprising Comeback to Previous Club as Loan Offer Made for Brazilian Star
NEYMAR might be on the verge of an exciting comeback to one of his former teams after a loan offer has been made for his services.
The Brazilian striker has been sidelined for almost 18 months since joining Al-Hilal.
Neymar, now 32 years old, suffered a torn ACL in October 2023 and only managed a brief appearance of 30 minutes in his comeback in November.
He has played a mere seven matches for Al-Hilal, scoring once, and could be on his way out of the club shortly.
His former team Santos has shown interest in reacquiring Neymar and has submitted a loan request, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
They are currently awaiting confirmation from Al-Hilal, with Neymar reportedly on board with the move.
MLS clubs are also expressing interest in the Brazilian ace, who is rumored to be earning £2.5 million a week.
Chicago Fire has been linked with him, along with Inter Miami, which may set the stage for Neymar to reunite with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez and revive their legendary MSN trio.
However, he would likely need to accept a substantial pay cut to leave his current situation in Saudi Arabia, though Chicago Fire is reportedly willing to propose £16 million per year, excluding bonuses.
Al-Hilal has left Neymar out of their squad for the upcoming domestic season.
