Dr. Jane Mufamadi Reinstated as CEO of Freedom Park after Suspension for Corruption Allegations

Johannesburg – Freedom Park has officially terminated the precautionary suspension of its embattled CEO, Dr. Jane Mufamadi, who faced allegations of nepotism and corruption based on anonymous letters submitted by staff members.

Dr. Mufamadi had been suspended just a week prior.

“This serves to notify you that the precautionary suspension placed on the CEO, Dr. Jane Mufamadi, on Wednesday, (29 January 2025), has been rescinded with immediate effect,” stated a brief announcement from Freedom Park.

“The CEO is expected to resume her responsibilities today, Monday, (3 February 2025), or as soon as circumstances allow.”

The statement was signed: “Sincerely yours, Dr. Andrew Arries, Acting Company Secretary, On behalf of the Council.”

Dr. Mufamadi has been accused of engaging in various irregularities by staff, as outlined in a report by IOL.
