ANNO POWER (2.55 Taunton, nap)
This six-year-old made a significant impact when winning a competitive bumper at Ascot last year during her second outing for Harry Fry. She followed that victory with a win at Cheltenham before making a successful return after a seven-month absence to triumph on her hurdles debut at Sandown in November. That performance was impressive considering her inexperience over jumps. She is expected to show considerable improvement from that outing and should outperform this level of competition.
MORANDI SECOND (2.40 Market Rasen, nb)
He concluded the Flat season with a straightforward win at Catterick and when he returned to hurdles, finished a close third at Sedgefield. If he hadn’t hit the final flight, he likely would have won. This move back in distance appears to be a smart choice, as he undoubtedly possesses the ability to win.
COURT CIAN (3.10 Market Rasen, treble)
Having secured victories in two of his last three races, he looks set for another win. He had a commanding 16-length advantage when winning at Fakenham on New Year’s Day, and despite the 10lb weight increase, he is expected to continue his success.
TIME PATROL (5.00 Newcastle, Lucky 15)
He has formed an excellent partnership with Molly Gunn, who can claim her 7lb allowance today. She has guided him to victories here and at Lingfield, and they are expected to achieve another win in this favorable race.
