Brave Mother and Son Stop Burglary in its Tracks
A 29-year-old burglary suspect was left injured and bruised after being subdued by a courageous mother and her son.
This incident took place on Sunday at a home on Riverside Road, in Grandhi Hill, KZN.

The intruder entered through the kitchen window while the family of five was fast asleep.
Courageous Duo Thwarts Burglary
The 67-year-old mother’s instincts kicked in as she woke to check on the strange noises in her home and stumbled upon the intruder.
Though confronted with a kitchen knife, the resourceful mother grabbed a metal pipe and began striking the intruder.

Her son quickly joined the battle, tackling the burglar and successfully taking control of the situation.
In the scuffle, the suspect proved to be quite aggressive, even resorting to biting the son on the arm, shoulder, and leg.
Suspect Arrested and Transferred to Authorities
Upon interrogation, the suspect asserted that a drug dealer from Buffelsdraai, KZN, had instructed him to break into the residence.

However, he couldn’t provide additional information. Subsequently, he was handed over to the Tongaat SAPS for further inquiries.
