WHATSYOURPROBLEM (3.10 Fontwell, nap)
In his last outing at Southwell, he was narrowly defeated by less than a length after leading for most of the race. He was caught near the finish, with a considerable gap to the third-place finisher. He remains at a similar distance for this race, and trainer Fergal O’Brien is in excellent form.
POPULAR DREAM (4.40 Southwell, nb)
He has a strong record over this course and distance, with a win and two close second-place finishes in his last three outings here. His latest finish could have easily been a win with a bit more luck. The handicapper hasn’t changed his rating, making another victory very likely.
CEIRA G (2.52 Lingfield, treble)
She triumphed in her last race at Chelmsford and was just narrowly edged out at Wolverhampton in her previous outing. She performs well over this distance and pairs effectively with Alice Bond, who gives a valuable 7lb allowance. The handicapper has kept her rating steady, positioning her as a strong contender.
KING OF YORK (6.45 Southwell, Lucky 15)
He is in great form, with two victories and a second from his last three runs. Both wins came at this venue over seven furlongs, and he showed impressive finishing in his latest race at this distance, making him a strong competitor.
