Ruben Amorim Cautions He Might Leave Man Utd Unless Results Improve, Highlights Club’s ‘Most Critical Issue’
RUBEN AMORIM has expressed his willingness to RESIGN as Manchester United’s manager if the club’s struggles persist.
United faced their 17th Premier League defeat of the season with a 2-0 loss to West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Red Devils find themselves winless in seven Premier League games, accumulating two draws and five losses, a streak that marks their longest winless period since 1992.
After the match, Amorim seemed disheartened and implied he might QUIT if he is unable to alter the situation.
The 40-year-old stated: “I don’t wish to discuss players. My attention is on myself and the club’s culture and the team. I can sense this.
“We must implement changes and remain resolute over the summer and act decisively.
“If we continue like this, next season will reflect this one. If this attitude persists, we might need to make way for new faces.
“This is a significant challenge at this club. It is a crucial moment in the history of the club, and we must confront it.
“The image of being a prestigious club is diminishing, and home defeats do not carry the weight they should.

“The lack of fear is the greatest danger to a prominent club.
“I view this as a serious issue. It rests not on the players but on me. I accept full responsibility.

“If we cannot correct this situation swiftly, we should make room for others.
“Reflecting on the goals we concede, many are preventable. The absence of energy and urgency is troubling at this club.
“You can sense it right from the start of the match. There’s a lack of urgency between our box and the opponent’s box. That’s something that must be rectified.”
If this trend continues into the next season, we all need to reassess and create opportunities for new individuals.
United has now suffered nine home Premier League losses this season, which matches their highest number of home defeats in a single league campaign, previously recorded in 1930/31, 1933/34, and 1962/63.
The Red Devils have fallen behind 1-0 at Old Trafford in the league on 12 occasions this season, with only Leicester (15) surpassing them in this regard at home.
Amorim remarked: “Our performances in the Europa League have not been strong, but there’s a different level of urgency.
“This is a matter we must address, both on the pitch and off.
“If we can’t improve, we should step aside for new management. All of us.
“We are about to face a Premier League team in the final, presenting a challenge.
“Naturally, we will be more focused, which concerns me, as this focus must be maintained in every match.
“For me, winning the Europa League is not the solution, as our issues are much deeper than that.”
“We are losing the essence of being a remarkable club.”
United will confront Tottenham in the final, a team they have lost to three times this season, in Bilbao on May 21.
Spurs are also facing a difficult end to their season, having dropped to 17th after a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
Regardless of their disappointing domestic season, United still has the chance to secure Champions League qualification by defeating Spurs in Bilbao in ten days.
However, Amorim added: “I am not preoccupied with the final; that is the least of our concerns.
“While they will set their sights on the final, I am uncertain about what is more advantageous: competing in the Champions League or not.”
Man Utd ratings vs West Ham as Ugarte underwhelming and Mainoo absent in latest disappointing display

MANCHESTER UNITED fell to 16th in the Premier League following a disappointing 2-0 defeat to West Ham at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim selected a strong lineup for United’s return to league action, but even Amad Diallo could not sway the result.
United started with promise but reverted to old habits after conceding in the 27th minute.
West Ham capitalized on United’s mistakes, and former Man Utd player Aaron Wan-Bissaka returned to challenge his old team.
The full-back provided a clever pass to Mohammed Kudus, who set up a low cross into the six-yard area for Tomas Soucek to score.
United was caught off guard once more, as Kudus took advantage of Manuel Ugarte’s error to assist Jarrod Bowen, who doubled West Ham’s lead in the 58th minute.
Despite some positive plays from Amad, this was yet another dismal performance from the home team, as West Ham became the SIXTH team to achieve a double against United this season.
The Red Devils have not recorded a Premier League victory since their 3-0 win over Leicester on March 16, which amusingly was also the last team West Ham defeated back in February.
