Boxing South Africa Appoints Bertram Moses as the New CFO

Johannesburg – Boxing South Africa has appointed financial expert Bertram Moses as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, Boxing SA announced Moses’s appointment, emphasizing his status as a “battle-hardened financial practitioner with over thirty years of experience in the finance sector, particularly in the private arena.”

Boxing SA remarked: “With senior roles at companies such as Multichoice, Mnet, and most recently Hitachi Construction Machinery Africa (Pty) Ltd, we are confident that Mr. Moses will significantly contribute to Boxing SA’s regeneration efforts.”

According to Boxing SA, Moses is seen as a crucial addition to the management team.

“His selection is a strategic effort to promote stability and improve governance within the organization,” noted Boxing SA.

“Mr. Moses has already acclimatized to Boxing SA, having started his role on June 6, just as the Auditor General initiates the audit of Boxing South Africa’s Financial Statements for 2024/2025.”

“His main responsibility will be to oversee this audit process and ensure that Boxing SA maximizes the outcome.”

Interestingly, Bertram Moses is the second individual with the surname Moses to serve as CFO at Boxing South Africa.

Thabang Moses occupied the position from 2015 until his resignation in 2021.
