Orlando Pirates Set to Acquire Galaxy Defender

Orlando Pirates are nearing their 10th signing as Lebone Seama prepares to transfer from TS Galaxy, according to Sportswire.

Seama has been training with the Buccaneers, who are evaluating the young defender’s skills. The 22-year-old has been part of TS Galaxy since 2022 and played a crucial role last season, making 30 appearances (22 in league matches) as Tim Sukazi’s team finished in fifth place.

Should Seama finalize his move, he will add to an impressive collection of new signings for the upcoming season. Key additions include Yanela Mbuthuma and Nkosikhona Mbatha from Richards Bay, Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City, Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants), Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu), Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United), Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka), and Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch).

The Soweto Giants secured second place in the league for the third consecutive year and also captured their third straight MTN8 title last season. They are now being guided by new head coach Abdelsam Ouaddou, who took over from Jose Riveiro earlier last month.

The team is scheduled to participate in a pre-season training camp in Spain, where they will play four friendly matches.
