NOVAK DJOKOVIC faced a concerning fall during the match point against Flavio Cobolli.
The 38-year-old Serbian competed in the Wimbledon quarter-finals on Centre Court against the Italian player.

Leading by two sets to one, Djokovic prepared to serve for the match at 5-4 in the fourth set.
At 40-30, the 24-time Grand Slam champion was taken aback by a forehand from Cobolli.
Positioned several steps behind the baseline where the grass was slick, Djokovic slipped drastically—nearly performing the splits.
The veteran remained on the ground for several seconds, causing concern among the Centre Court spectators and his opponent Cobolli.
His wife, Jelena, and son, Stefan, looked visibly worried as they watched from Djokovic’s box.
Fortunately, the seven-time Wimbledon champion managed to stand carefully, drying off with a towel.
Djokovic regrouped to win two more points, ultimately clinching the match with a score of 6-7, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4, advancing to a semi-final match against Jannik Sinner.
After his victory, the gracious star told the BBC’s Rishi Persad on court: “Huge congratulations to Flavio for an amazing tournament and a great battle today.”

Regarding his recent slip, Djokovic commented: “Well, I finished the match… so.”
“It was an unfortunate slip, but that’s what happens on grass. I hadn’t slipped this year, so it was a bit unexpected!”

He further added: “It was indeed a strange moment, but somehow I managed to execute a big serve.”
Djokovic mentioned consulting his physiotherapist but felt good overall, expressing eagerness for the upcoming match against Sinner.
World No. 1 Sinner advanced to the semi-finals with a straight-sets win over Ben Shelton.
When discussing the upcoming match against Djokovic, the Italian remarked: “It’s a different matchup. Novak and I are familiar with one another as we have faced each other numerous times.”
“We understand what works and what doesn’t. However, I have never won against him here at Wimbledon, so it’s going to be a major challenge.”
