At Wimbledon, Raducanu dealt with rumors surrounding her potential romance with Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
It was recently revealed that they would partner for the new mixed doubles format at the US Open.
Raducanu was also seen attending one of Alcaraz’s matches at Queen’s.
The 22-year-old reiterated at that time that she and the two-time Wimbledon champion are simply “friends.”
As the US Open approaches, Raducanu shared her thoughts on the speculation regarding her personal life with The Guardian.
The British No. 1 remarked, “I suppose it’s part of the territory; people are curious.”
“They seem more interested in this gossip than in the actual tennis scores or updates.”
“Nonetheless, I prefer to keep my personal life under wraps.”

The baffled player, currently in a committed relationship with Louise Jacobi, answered: “Sorry?”
The reporter persisted: “I’m just trying to find out who is dating Emma Raducanu. It seems to be a topic of discussion among the men’s singles… could you clarify if you’re with her?”
A visibly uncomfortable Norrie responded: “No, I’m not. You should ask her; I have no idea.”
Reflecting on that awkward moment, Raducanu laughed and said: “That was terrible, truly terrible.”

The British No. 1 currently holds the rank of No. 39 in the world and recently experienced a narrow loss against Aryna Sabalenka in the second round at Cincinnati.
For the first time since her US Open victory four years ago, Raducanu has completed an entire season while importantly remaining injury-free.
With Mark Petchey busy with TV commitments, Raducanu has started collaborating with Francisco Roig, a former coach of Rafael Nadal.
Discussing the talks surrounding her various coaches over the years, Raducanu remarked: “When I see headlines like: ‘Oh, Emma is on her ninth coach’, I think: ‘Come on, guys.’ Some of those don’t even count.”
“If it was just a trial, there’s no requirement to continue afterward. Some were merely trials, while others came about for various reasons.”
“I aim to maintain a positive mindset. I try to present myself in a manner similar to how a member of the Royal Family would.”
