Ryk is a highly respected financial journalist with more than 25 years of experience. Currently, he serves as the editor at Moneyweb and hosts RSG Geldsake, South Africa’s premier business radio show.
Before joining Moneyweb in 2011, he was the national editor for Media24’s daily business publications.
Ryk is also a notable public speaker and facilitator, often sharing his perspectives on political and economic topics across various local and international media outlets. His expertise lies in financial investigative journalism, and he has received numerous awards throughout his career.
He holds an MBL from Unisa and earned a cum laude M.Phil in Journalism from Stellenbosch University.
