Mount Atlas poses a serious threat after an effortless win at Ascot.
Although performing admirably, this tougher competition at a career peak could be challenging.
Insanity deserves mention after an unlucky third in the same event; he could bounce back given a better position.
This Songisforyou faced harder competition last time out and held his own—he’ll find this easier and shouldn’t be overlooked.
French Duke may not have excelled this season but still possesses the talent and is shedding weight gradually.

TRAWLERMAN looks poised for another strong win post his authoritative performance in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.
Leading from the start, he surged ahead of a robust field, adding to his prior victory in the Henry II at Sandown.
Proven over this distance and proficient on quick ground, he clearly stands out in this field.
Al Qareem is riding a streak at York, hunting a hat-trick after his victories in both Listed and Group 3 races from the front.
He’s likely to set the pace and poses a real threat.
Sweet William is known for his stamina and consistency but often starts slowly; a sharper start may be necessary for impact.
Al Nayyir rebounded from a narrow loss to Coltrane previously and remains capable over this distance but hasn’t won at this level yet.
Dubai Future has shown strong past performances but struggled in major races this season, while younger horse Shackleton displays potential but requires considerable improvement to contend with seasoned rivals.

DO OR DO NOT is set to claim his first victory in the Gimcrack.
This son of Space Blues has consistently performed at a high standard this summer, finishing in the top three in three consecutive Group 2 races.
He barely missed out against leading competitors at Newmarket and Goodwood, proving he’s a colt seeking a big prize.
Tactically adept, he excels on quick ground and appears strong with first-time cheekpieces.
Reciprocated struggled at Ascot following two easy wins and requires better settling, while Rock On Thunder showed promise at Newbury but must elevate his game to be competitive here.
Egoli has two wins under his belt and performed admirably despite challenging conditions at Goodwood.
Any improvement on that performance will put him in the mix.
The speedy Comical Point must bounce back after a disappointing performance in the July Stakes at Newmarket.
Lifeplan impressed on debut but faces a significant class challenge, while Irish Fighter and Yorkshire Puds seem outmatched in this strong lineup.

NIGHT RAIDER is on the verge of clinching victory in the £700,000 Nunthorpe (3.35 York, nap).
Karl Burke’s sprinter is efficiently drawn in stall eight and deserves some luck following his previous win on the less favored side at Goodwood.

JM JUNGLE 4
On the rise, this sprinter has shown continuous improvement this season and won a Group 2 at Goodwood. The 5f distance suits him well, and with his ability on fast ground, he’s a strong contender at this venue.
KERDOS 2
He faced challenges at Goodwood after a tough campaign, and while he showed glimpses of form this year, including a solid Group 1 showing at Ascot, the sprint distance may be a bit sharp for him.
MANACCAN 1
After a return from a break this season, he’s shown gradual progress in handicap races. Given his previous Group form, he seems a long shot in this contest.
NIGHT RAIDER 5
He possesses potential that belies his form figures, especially with a sixth behind JM Jungle at Goodwood, where he won on the less favored side. Still maturing at 5f, he has room to grow.
RUMSTAR 3
This dependable horse didn’t handle the soft ground at the Curragh but performed well at Sandown. He’s reliable and should thrive on this surface, making him a potential contender for a place.
SPARTAN ARROW 1
After winning a Listed event earlier this season, he hasn’t delivered in subsequent races. His latest ninth-place finish at Goodwood suggests he has more to address to compete here.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS 3
With a recent Listed win and a third in a competitive Haydock Group 2, he’s shown his capability in this race. He performs well when fresh, so he could potentially secure a placing again.
AIN’T NOBODY 1
Still looking for his first win of 2025, he has performed decently in Pattern races earlier this year. However, his last two outings have not matched that form, and this race may be too tough based on past performances.
ARIZONA BLAZE 4
An improving colt with notable speed, he earned a significant Group 2 win in Ireland. His solid 5f performances indicate he’s ready to compete at his best.
ASFOORA 4
This Australian mare boasts impressive credentials, including a win at Royal Ascot in 2024. While her recent performances have been decent, her increased fitness should position her well if she can regain her best form.
FROST AT DAWN 3
A reliable horse and runner-up in a Group 1 earlier this season, she performed admirably at 5f. A strong fourth behind JM Jungle at Goodwood last time enhances her chances. She thrives on fast ground and a strong pace aligns with her style.
MGHEERA 3
This talented mare secured two Group wins this year. Although not at her best in her recent outing in Ireland, she needed that race following a break. With her speed, she’s among the each-way candidates with Buick in the saddle.
SHE’S QUALITY 3
This consistently strong filly has finished in her last four Group outings and was narrowly bested by JM Jungle at Goodwood. Reliable, fast, and suited to the conditions, she’s likely to perform at her usual level.
CELANDINE 2
After a solid effort at Chester last time and being a former Group 3 winner, she should navigate the ground and course well. However, this represents her toughest challenge yet, and she may struggle to keep up.
SAYIDAH DARIYAN 3
This developing horse made a significant showing last time over 6f in the Summer Stakes and will be ridden for a late push. She has potential if a pace collapse occurs but must exceed previous bests.
LADY IMAN 4
This unbeaten 2yo filly convincingly won the Molecomb at Goodwood. Benefiting from a substantial weight-for-age allowance, she’s incredibly speedy and, despite facing older horses for the first time, her profile suggests promising Group 1 potential.
SPICY MARG 3
With commendable performances to date, she glided through her last minor race. Though confronting tougher competition now, her potent finish could bring her home strong, especially with weight advantages.

ZGHARTA faced a typical Goodwood hard-luck story last time, but this more traditional track should suit her well.
She showed untapped potential, and returning to this distance on fast ground may play to her strengths.
Her current mark appears achievable, and she seems to be on the rise.
Wonder Star poses a significant challenge after nearly winning a similar race at Goodwood.
She traveled smoothly in that event and is trending upward, though her draw and lack of experience in deeper handicaps could raise concerns.
Akecheta impressed off the pace at Goodwood and usually thrives under fast conditions.
She’s ready to shine soon.
Cape Flora looked striking at Leicester. While this race is tougher, she remains unexposed.
Callisto Dream has hinted at her promise this season and may shine with a distance increase.
