Sir Mark Prescott has an extraordinary filly in this Cracksman progeny, who has easily won both of her races to date. She made an impressive debut, winning by over five lengths at Newmarket and later delivered an even more dominant performance at Yarmouth. Although the Baronet raises her in class for this race, she appears well-prepared for the challenge, and this seven-furlong distance on quick turf is ideal for her.
GREAT CHIEFTAIN (1.50 Goodwood, nb)
He’s in excellent shape and is set to achieve a third consecutive win. After being a solid performer last season, he made a robust return at Newmarket before clinching a narrow victory at Haydock last time. The 4lb rise for that commendable performance seems justified, and he still has more to give.
GET IT (3.00 Goodwood, treble)
He can rebound from a slight setback after attempting to defend his Stewards’ Cup title last time. That outing didn’t go as expected. Earlier, he triumphed in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot and excels at this distance and venue. He thrives in smaller fields and should display his superior speed against these competitors on favorable ground.
CHAIRMANFOURTIMES (3.10 Beverley, Lucky 15)
He’s showing remarkable consistency, putting forth a strong effort when narrowly defeated at York during his handicap debut. This followed a victory at Pontefract, and returning to this distance appears to be a wise decision. He’s a solid choice for our Lucky 15.
