Bidcorp Reports Profit Growth and Raises Dividend
International food, service, and technology conglomerate Bidcorp announced a profit rise of 6.4%, reaching R12.9 billion for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2025. The company also revealed a final cash dividend of 600 cents per share, marking a 6.2% increase.
In a statement published on Wednesday, the company emphasized that 94% of its revenue comes from international markets, rendering constant currency metrics the most reliable indicators of its performance.

Consequently, headline earnings per share (Heps) grew by 9.6% to 2,635.8 cents, whereas in rand, Heps rose by 6.5% to 2,562.7 cents, reflecting the impact of a stronger rand.
Operational performance
The company’s European divisions reported encouraging results, achieving double-digit revenue growth and trading profits in local currencies, even amid what it described as “challenging macro conditions.”
“Except for Portugal, which is in an investment phase, all branches delivered improved outcomes,” the statement notes.
The UK showed enhanced performance in its primary foodservice sectors, while operations in emerging markets benefited from “excellent performance” in South Africa.
Bidcorp warns that Greater China remains sluggish due to the macroeconomic environment, while Singapore is recovering from its realignment efforts.
Australia and New Zealand achieved satisfactory trading results, despite facing weaker macro conditions.
Bidcorp CEO Bernard Berson mentioned that 12 foodservice bolt-on opportunities were successfully integrated during the reporting period, strengthening the group’s geographic presence in established markets.
