Pregnant Woman Tries to Stab Boyfriend Over Alleged Infidelity in Canelands, KZN
A dramatic confrontation unfolded in Canelands, KwaZulu-Natal, as a 25-year-old pregnant woman attempted to stab her 32-year-old boyfriend, accusing him of cheating.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA), officers received a report of a woman attacking a man on Old Main Road just before noon on Saturday. When they arrived, they found the woman brandishing a kitchen knife, trying to harm her partner, who was protecting himself.

The officer quickly disarmed her and intervened to separate the couple.

The couple confirmed their relationship status, with the woman alleging she confronted her boyfriend at his job about his supposed infidelity, leading to a heated dispute.

During the altercation, she drew a knife in an attempt to stab him. In the struggle, the boyfriend succeeded in defending himself, but the woman sustained minor injuries to her face.
She informed the officers that she is seven months pregnant with their child and expressed deep distress regarding his alleged ongoing infidelity.

Despite the violent confrontation, neither party chose to pursue further action. They conveyed to RUSA officials their intention to resolve the matter privately and in an amicable manner.
