Ryk is an esteemed financial journalist with more than 25 years of experience. Currently, he serves as the editor of Moneyweb and hosts RSG Geldsake, the leading business radio show in South Africa.
Before joining Moneyweb in 2011, Ryk was the national editor for Media24’s daily business publications.
Recognized as a public speaker and facilitator, Ryk often shares his insights on political and economic matters for various local and international media outlets. His specialization in financial investigative journalism has earned him numerous awards throughout his career.
He possesses an MBL from Unisa and an M.Phil in Journalism from Stellenbosch University, both achieved with distinction.
