Sebelebele: Strengthened by Pirate Support

Kamogelo Sebelebele, recently signed to Bafana Bafana, is embracing the limelight following his transfer to Orlando Pirates, crediting his rising confidence to the tremendous backing from Buccaneers supporters.

The 23-year-old winger, who transitioned from TS Galaxy in the off-season, has rapidly become an essential player for Pirates.

Sebelebele has played in five league matches, scoring one goal, and has made a noteworthy contribution in the MTN8 Cup, netting two goals in two games against Mamelodi Sundowns to help his team secure a spot in the final.

His stellar performances with Pirates have attracted the attention of Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos, who has included him in the national squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho at Dr. Molemela Stadium this Friday and Nigeria next Tuesday.

“Joining Orlando Pirates has significantly transformed my career, as the support I receive really elevates my confidence,” Sebelebele expressed.

“I am keen to display my talents; being part of smaller teams often means flying under the radar. Now that I’m with a prestigious club, I’m excited about gaining the recognition I deserve.”

The surge in Sebelebele’s confidence is evident, and he is committed to making a remarkable impact with both Pirates and Bafana Bafana.

His selection in the national team underscores his hard work and determination.

The former TS Galaxy player participated in the COSAFA Cup with Bafana Bafana last June and is now ready to shine in critical matches.

“I am thrilled and honored to represent my country,” Sebelebele remarked.

“I look forward to contributing to the team’s quest for a World Cup spot.”
