Police Detain MP Fadiel Adams
Pretoria – Officials have detained the head of the National Coloured Congress, MP Fadiel Adams, due to allegations of fraud and attempts to impede justice.
This situation involves serious accusations about his interference in the ongoing investigation into the 2017 murder of former African National Congress Youth League leader, Sindiso Magaqa.
The MP was arrested on Tuesday, 5 May 2026, just outside the Parliamentary Village in Cape Town.
Witnesses indicated that police officers were seen escorting MP Adams to a waiting vehicle, where he was secured inside the van before being taken to a police station.
