Chippa United has announced the immediate departure of coach Vusumuzi “Kanu” Vilakazi.

The decision followed a disappointing 3-1 loss to Sekhukhune United during a replayed match held at Buffalo City Stadium on Wednesday.

The original match, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, leading the PSL to reschedule it for the next day. Unfortunately for Vilakazi, the outcome remained unchanged, with Sekhukhune’s commanding display sealing his dismissal.
