EFL Giants Reveal Spectacular £3 Billion Stadium Design, Featuring a ‘Restaurant with a View’
BIRMINGHAM CITY has unveiled stunning new images showcasing the envisioned appearance of their £3 billion stadium project.
The Championship club, backed by NFL great Tom Brady, shared ambitious plans last year for a ‘powerhouse’ venue with a seating capacity of 62,000.
The striking designs feature 12 massive chimneys and are part of a £2.5 billion redevelopment project known as the Sports Quarter for the city.
The club aims to finish the stadium, which will independently cost £1.2 billion, by 2029.
Recently, Birmingham provided further insights into the stadium’s design with a new array of images.

Supporters will be able to dine at a restaurant within the stadium, offering spectacular views of the city.
The interior of the stadium concourse was also revealed, featuring a vast atrium supported by numerous pillars.
Views of the pitch promise a “hostile atmosphere” from the south stand.
The club also showcased the interior of the dressing room, upscale corporate hospitality areas, and their luxurious ‘tunnel club’.
Birmingham made a significant impression with their initial designs, inviting club legend and youth icon Jude Bellingham to share his thoughts.
The England international, who joined the club at 15, expressed his astonishment with a simple ‘Wow’ during the presentation to an audience of around 300 dignitaries and fans.
Club owner Tom Wagner stated, “This signifies a major milestone for Birmingham City – creating a home for the club that embodies our ambition to compete at the highest level.
“Moreover, the iconic design underscores our commitment to the City of Birmingham and the West Midlands, reinforcing a region that is on the rise.
“The stadium is inspired by the proud heritage of the West Midlands – a legacy of industry, creativity, and progress.
“I believe these same qualities can usher in a new era of success, both on and off the field, and create opportunities for local communities that have been underserved for too long.”
