Ryk is a renowned financial journalist with more than 25 years of experience. He is currently the editor of Moneyweb and hosts RSG Geldsake, South Africa’s leading business radio show.
Before joining Moneyweb in 2011, he was the national editor for Media24’s daily business publications.
Ryk is a highly regarded public speaker and facilitator, often sharing his insights on political and economic matters in various local and international media outlets. He has a focus on financial investigative journalism and has earned multiple awards throughout his career.
Ryk holds an MBL from Unisa and an M.Phil in Journalism from Stellenbosch University, both awarded cum laude.
