Koeberg Life Extension: Enlit Africa 2026 to Showcase Africa’s Nuclear Potential
Cape Town – Enlit Africa has introduced a specific segment dedicated to nuclear energy in its 2026 conference schedule, highlighting it as a practical matter rather than merely theoretical. The emphasis will be on addressing delivery challenges, readiness, and making well-informed decisions based on real-world scenarios.
The event is set to take place from 19–21 May 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa.
As countries and utilities work toward a balance among energy security, cost efficiency, and decarbonization goals, nuclear energy is increasingly evaluated for its practical application. This includes life extension, supply chain capacity, regulatory readiness, workforce competencies, and grid integration.
Enlit Africa’s nuclear initiative aims to bring together utilities, regulators, policymakers, technology providers, and financial entities to discuss these critical practical components.
