Thomas Frank, 52, Former Tottenham Manager, Secures New Position Just Three Months After Departure

Former Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has reportedly secured a new position ahead of this summer’s World Cup.

The 52-year-old was let go by Spurs in February, merely eight months after taking on the role.

He left the club with a record of 13 wins, 10 draws, and 15 losses in a tough season for the North London side.

Now, he is set to make his TV return in a new capacity.

The Guardian reports that Frank has joined BBC Sport in anticipation of the World Cup next month.

He will offer expert analysis during the tournament, sharing the screen with notable figures like Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart, and Alan Shearer.

Former Arsenal and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has also been recruited by the broadcaster.

At the same time, Ange Postecoglou—who succeeded Frank at Tottenham—has agreed to work with ITV throughout the tournament.

He will join Gary Neville, Ian Wright, and Roy Keane in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.

All 104 World Cup matches will be available for live streaming on free-to-air television across the UK.

ITV will air England’s opening match against Croatia, their final group stage clash with Panama, and the quarter-finals if Thomas Tuchel’s squad progresses that far.

The BBC plans to broadcast their second group match against Ghana and remains hopeful about the Three Lions making a significant run in the tournament.

This means they will also feature England’s matches in the last-32, last-16, and semi-finals if they reach those stages.

Both networks share the rights to the final on July 19.
