Kyle Walker, 36, Set for Quick Premier League Comeback Following Burnley’s Relegation

KYLE WALKER is generating interest from Everton.

The Burnley right-back has come close to joining the Merseyside club twice before, and with manager David Moyes at the helm, a transfer could finally materialize.

At 36, Walker joined Burnley last summer for £5 million, leaving Manchester City on a two-year deal.

This move followed an earlier unsuccessful attempt to sign with Everton, as Walker nearly joined the club during his youth.

Last season, Walker made 35 Premier League appearances for Burnley, though he was unable to prevent the club’s relegation.

He also scored the crucial penalty in Burnley’s recent Carabao Cup win over Notts County last Saturday.

If Walker joins Everton, it’s anticipated that the transfer will be for a modest fee.

The Toffees have already welcomed Brennan Johnson, Christian Norgaard, Hayden Hackney, Tyrique George, and Merlin Rohl this summer.

Johnson was the latest addition, finalizing his move from Crystal Palace, which also involved Dwight McNeil going the other way.
