Bitget Diversifies Stock Dual Investment Portfolio with More than 20 U.S. Assets

Bitget has significantly enhanced its Stock Dual Investment range, increasing the number of U.S. stock and ETF-linked tokens from six to over 20, with settlement now scheduled for 11:30 p.m. UTC+8.

Summary

  • Over 20 rTokens now facilitate Bitget’s Buy Low and Sell High strategies.
  • The range includes tokens associated with major companies like Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Coinbase, and two leveraged ETFs.
  • Settlement for Stock Dual Investment transactions now occurs at 11:30 p.m. UTC+8, following the start of regular U.S. trading.
  • An exclusive deposit promotion for select users offers up to 3,000 USDT in non-withdrawable trading bonuses.

Bitget announced on August 14 that its expanded offerings feature tokens linked to prominent tech stocks, cryptocurrency-related firms, semiconductor companies, and exchange-traded funds.

The supported tokens include rMU, rSNDK, rNVDA, rCRCL, rSPCX, rTSLA, rMRVL, rAMZN, rGOOGL, rMSTR, rINTC, rMETA, rAMD, rSOXL, rTSM, rAAPL, rCOIN, rAAOI, rSOXS, rNBIS, and rWDC. Bitget indicated plans to further increase the selection of underlying assets but did not specify a timeline.

New offerings include tokens that track Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Meta, Advanced Micro Devices, Intel, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, as well as crypto-related offerings tied to Coinbase, Circle, and Strategy, along with rSOXL and rSOXS which track leveraged semiconductor ETFs.

Bitget Stock Dual Investment adds more targets

The Stock Dual Investment product launched on July 25 with six initial offerings: rSPCXUSDT, rNVDAUSDT, rGOOGLUSDT, rAAPLUSDT, rCOINUSDT, and rAMZNUSDT. The update on August 14 has expanded this to at least 21 assets in just under a month.

In the Buy Low feature, users subscribe with USDT and select a target price and settlement date. If the linked token’s settlement price is at or below the targeted price at expiration, Bitget purchases the token at the agreed price and pays the applicable interest.

If the settlement price exceeds the target, the user receives their USDT back along with interest without converting to tokens, as per Bitget’s product terms. The noted annual percentage rate and the available subscription amounts may vary and are displayed on the product page at the time of order placement.

For the Sell High options, users commit the corresponding stock token instead of USDT. If its settlement price meets or exceeds the target at expiration, Bitget converts the position at that target price and adds the requisite interest. If the target is not met, the user retains the token and collects interest in the specified settlement asset of the product.

Bitget labels Dual Investment as a non-principal-protected offering. Thus, a user might receive a different asset upon maturity, and the agreed conversion price could become less favorable than the market price prior to settlement. Subscription funds will also be locked until the date specified for maturity.

The new settlement time follows the U.S. market open

With this update, Bitget has shifted the settlement time for stock-linked offerings to 11:30 p.m. UTC+8, equivalent to 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This timing aligns settlement approximately 90 minutes post the opening of the Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange at 9:30 a.m. ET.

Bitget asserts that this adjustment allows the settlement process to incorporate price variations occurring during the early U.S. trading hours, which often include company announcements, analyst reports, and market reactions to overnight news. However, the exchange did not provide comparative data on performance under the previous versus updated schedules.

Stock Dual Investment does not offer the same experience as purchasing a U.S. listed share through a traditional brokerage. Instead, the products utilize rTokens that reflect the value of U.S. securities, and the outcome relies on the chosen target price, maturity date, and conversion regulations.

In May, Bitget introduced the Reality platform, featuring rTokens that are purportedly backed 1:1 by shares managed through regulated brokerage and custody arrangements. As detailed previously by crypto.news, the exchange indicated that Reality would support stablecoin minting and redemption, dividend distribution, and products tied to U.S. stocks and ETFs.

In July, Bitget incorporated over 100 rTokens and more than 370 different eligible assets into a unified margin system. Eligible tokens can facilitate borrowing and margin responsibilities, though Bitget cautioned that falling collateral values can result in margin calls or liquidation events.

U.S. access still depends on regulatory approvals

Despite the focus on American securities, Bitget has not confirmed that the Stock Dual Investment option is accessible to U.S. residents. Access is contingent on account eligibility and regional regulations, highlighting the importance of this distinction for American readers.

Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen, stated in July that the company plans to establish a separate U.S. entity and pursue money-transmitter, derivatives, and broker-dealer licenses before providing services in the country. A timeline for this launch has not been disclosed, and Chen mentioned that the plan would advance irrespective of whether Congress passes the CLARITY Act.

During that same conversation, Chen indicated that tokenized traditional assets constituted between 20% and 30% of Bitget’s spot volume in the previous quarter, along with 52% of users holding both stocks and crypto. Additionally, the platform’s tokenized-stock offerings reportedly surpassed $100 million in total volume.

Bitget’s intended expansion into the U.S. market could necessitate a different product structure than what is currently offered offshore. According to Chen, the company aims to secure the requisite approvals before launching locally, as regulations regarding securities, derivatives, and broker-dealer operations would influence the stock-linked services it can offer.

The exchange also operates Stock+, a distinct product that allows qualified users to buy and hold actual U.S. stocks and ETFs. Bitget’s documentation differentiates this broker-style service from rTokens, which provide tokenized economic exposure rather than the true ownership structure of registered shares.

Two Bitget promotions carry separate eligibility rules

In tandem with the product expansion, Bitget is hosting an invitation-only Dual Investment bonus campaign until August 21. Eligible users must register prior to completing the required deposit tasks, provided they have not engaged with a Dual Investment product since January 1, 2026.

A net deposit of at least 1,000 USDT qualifies for a 1,000 USDT trading bonus voucher, whereas deposits of 30,000 USDT or more yield an additional 2,000 USDT. The maximum available for each user is 3,000 USDT, sourced from a campaign fund of 1 million USDT, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Net deposits are calculated by taking total withdrawals during the campaign away from USDT deposits made after registration. The exchange noted that withdrawals of other cryptocurrencies could also impact final calculations.

Bonus vouchers can only be used for specified Buy Low offerings, with a limit of one voucher per order. Users must invest at least the minimum required subscription amount from their personal funds, and the voucher is valid for a three-day trial period.

The bonus principal is not withdrawable, transferrable, or exchangeable for cash. Bitget stated that users can keep the earnings generated during the trial; however, only the portion contributed from their own balance is subject to conversion based on the settlement price.

A second promotion is available from August 14 through August 28 and is open to new and existing Dual Investment users without the need for registration. Cumulative subscriptions of 50,000, 100,000, 500,000, 1 million, and 3 million USDT enable access to rewards that include limited merchandise ranging from gym bags to camping sets.

Bitget noted a limited quantity of prizes available: 80 gym bags, 40 keyboards, 30 suitcases, 20 commemorative gold coins, and five camping sets. Rewards will be allocated to qualifying users in the order they meet each criterion, and winners must respond promptly to Bitget’s request for shipping details within five business days.
