Three injured in ambulance collision in Durban.
Durban – Three individuals sustained injuries following an accident involving a private ambulance and two security vehicles in Greyville.
According to Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, the incident took place shortly after 8 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the crossroads of Gladys Mazibuko Road and Cross Street.
Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered the ambulance overturned on its side.
One paramedic and three security personnel were treated for various injuries resulting from the collision.
They received care at the scene from Advanced Life Support paramedics before being transported to hospitals throughout Durban for additional treatment.
