Fox News: Trump Threatens Military Action Against Oman for Obstructing US Interests

President Donald Trump issued a warning to bomb Oman if the nation obstructs the US blockade on Iranian vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Fox News.

During a telephone interview, Trump informed the network that if “Oman interferes, we’ll bomb the s—— out of them.” He further stated that the blockade is exerting pressure on Iran and indicated he has no specific timeline for resolving the situation, emphasizing that he is not rushing.

The ongoing conflict with Iran has persisted for almost six months with no end in sight. Discussions between the US and Iran aimed at achieving a lasting peace have stalled, and sporadic clashes continue to erupt, disrupting the transportation of oil and other essential commodities through the vital Strait of Hormuz.

This conflict has led to surges in oil and gas prices, increasing the pressure on Trump’s Republican Party as the midterm elections in November approach.
