Police are seeking 41-year-old murder suspect James Mohajane in a manhunt.

Rustenburg – Authorities are on the lookout for 41-year-old James Mohajane, who is sought in connection with the murders of his girlfriend, Moipone Lefoka, her sister, Esther Lefoka, and her partner Tshepo Molekwa.

Reports suggest that the three victims were last seen together at the residence of Tshepo Molekwa in Moeka Vuma, located near Makapanstad in the North West.

“The bodies of the three victims were found at the house on Sunday morning,” stated police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe.

“They are believed to have been brutally murdered with a spade.”

Brigadier Mathe mentioned that when law enforcement arrived at the site, Mohajane was absent.

Nevertheless, officials recovered his cellphone from the crime scene.

The motive behind these horrific killings is still under investigation.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is urging anyone with information regarding James Mohajane’s location to contact Sergeant Nhlapo directly at 078 918 7746.

The public is advised not to approach or confront the suspect but to furnish the police with any relevant information.

“SAPS reaffirms its dedication to enhancing efforts to prevent and combat gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF) as well as violent crimes, especially those targeting women and vulnerable populations,” concluded Brigadier Mathe.
