Yet, some critics have taken issue with the show, with the Independent describing it as “dull” and “tedious.”

Despite the critiques, Owen is happy to see a positive viewership, noting its remarkable position on Amazon.

Fans have responded positively, calling the show “a fantastic watch” and providing “great insight into your family.”

Owen hopes that his show will help him shed his “most boring man title” and showcase a different side of himself.

The documentary aims to raise the Owens’ profile and compete with famous sporting families like the Beckhams, the Rooneys, and the Furys.

Filming takes place at Owen’s stunning £4 million mansion in North Wales, and showcases his operations at Manor House Stables, the racehorse training facility he founded in 2006.

The series also highlights his daughter Gemma and her burgeoning career in horse racing.

She plays a key role in the show and is expected to draw in new fans following her appearance on Love Island.

However, some viewers have pointed out certain tedious moments in the show, including scenes of Owen consuming Dairylea cheese triangles on toast and expressing his fondness for orcas.

Owen was a football icon, winning the Ballon d’Or in 2001 during his time at Liverpool.

He scored 158 goals in 297 matches for the Reds before moving to Real Madrid in 2004.

After one season with the Spanish club, he returned to England to sign with Newcastle United.

After a four-year stint at St. James’ Park, Owen finished his career with Manchester United—securing a Premier League title in 2011—and subsequently with Stoke City.

Since retiring from professional football in 2013, Owen has transitioned into a role as a pundit and commentator.
