WILSON ISIDOR has countered Jamie Carragher’s grim evaluation of Sunderland’s future, claiming he is unaware of who the Liverpool legend is.
The forward promised to prove his doubters wrong by showing that last season’s success was no mere accident.
Carragher labeled Sunderland as “arrogant” after their initial match loss to Ipswich, forecasting relegation amid the added demands of the Europa League.
The Black Cats responded with a 1-0 victory over Fulham at the Stadium of Light, thanks to a goal from substitute Isidor.
Regarding Carragher’s remarks, the outspoken Haiti international stated: “I don’t know Jamie Carragher. If I’m not familiar with him, his opinions are irrelevant to me.
