Talented young Chelsea player, Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, scored a thrilling last-minute goal in the 91st minute, leading England Under-18s to a 2-1 victory over Korea Republic on Wednesday.
At only 17 years old, he was substituted in during the 60th minute, just after the Young Lions took the lead thanks to a goal from Newcastle’s Sam Alabi.

In the 70th minute, Ji-Seong Lim equalized for Korea Republic, but Kavuma-McQueen delivered the winning strike seconds before the final whistle, as his shot took a fortunate deflection into the top-right corner.
Excited Chelsea fans instantly shared their praise, with one supporter stating: “An absolute star in the making.”
Another fan added: “What a player!”
A third commented: “Kavuma-McQueen making us wait until the very last moment—my heart couldn’t handle that. I’d choose academy talents like him over random signings any day.”

Kavuma-McQueen has been enjoying his first taste of regular first-team football this season.
Currently on loan at Portsmouth in the Championship, he has made seven first-team appearances.
During this time, the promising player has recorded one goal and one assist.
Although he has only made one senior appearance for Chelsea, it was during last season’s FA Cup quarter-final against Port Vale.
