Tyson Fury Threatened to Withdraw from Fight if His Name Wasn’t First on Poster, Says Anthony Joshua
ANTHONY JOSHUA alleges that Tyson Fury threatened to back out of their eagerly awaited fight unless his name was placed at the top of the promotional poster.
The two boxing icons are set to clash in a momentous Battle of Britain at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11.
Joshua, 36, had a disagreement with Fury after a low-profile press conference that attracted hundreds of fans in London.
In a startling admission, AJ revealed that the Gypsy King was prepared to PULL OUT of the lucrative contest.
Joshua elaborated: “Just to inform you, I got a call the other night.
“They asked, ‘Do you mind if Fury’s name is first since he won’t sign unless it is,’ and I replied, ‘I don’t want to lose this fight.’”

However, Joshua quickly found Fury countering his statement, asserting that he was fabricating the story during their Q&A session.
Fury, 38, responded: “Bulls***, bulls***, bulls***. Behind closed doors, you’ve been complaining like little girls about A side and B side, I want this I want that.
“You’ve tried everything to avoid this fight. Every trick in the book.
“I’ve checkmated you. There’s no escaping now; you’ve got to face me, that’s it.”

Joshua stressed that his only request was to conduct the fight in Great Britain, as New York’s renowned Madison Square Garden had initially been suggested as a location.
The two-time heavyweight champion declared: “We’ll inspire this generation and the next.”
“It was the people from this country who supported us. I’m fulfilling my destiny before I leave this world.”
Joshua has reportedly succeeded in winning over Fury’s family against him prior to their confrontation in Wales.
